KUDOS: Light Station keepers found Port amazing and welcoming
To Ozaukee Press:
My husband and I served as volunteer resident lighthouse keepers for a week at the 1860 Light Station museum in Port Washington.
Your community welcomed us so warmly! Your little city is amazing.
And so, thank you to: the helpful young checkout man at the Pig; the kind people frying fish during Fish Days; the participants attending the lighthouse lecture; that adorable dog pulling a fish float during the parade; the incredibly talented city park musicians; Christine for sharing Edelweiss tickets; local museum visitors who brought out-of-town guests to the museum; Dawn St. George at the Historical Society; and all the people we chatted with during our short stay.
Your community is remarkable and something to be proud of.
