KUDOS: Gardeners primed for a good year by club’s Green Up seminar

Thanks to the Ozaukee Press, Port Washington State Bank and the local restaurants that helped make the Port Washington Garden Club’s annual gardening seminar an all-around success.

This year’s Green Up Your Winter Blues seminar was held on Feb. 8 at the Lakeview Community Room, a delightful venue in the heart of Port Washington made available by Port Washington State Bank. It provided ready access to downtown restaurants at lunch time, and we thank those restaurants that specifically welcomed our attendees—Baltica Tea Room, Dockside Deli, Fork & Tap, Schooner Pub and Yummy Bones.

Thanks again to Ozaukee Press for getting the notice of the seminar out to all of its reading audience and especially to Elizabeth O’Connell for mentioning the event in her Ozaukee Gardener column.

We wish all of the gardeners in Ozaukee County a good year in their gardens.
