To Ozaukee Press:

On behalf of Portal, Inc., we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s 5K Run, Walk & Roll such a memorable experience as Portal celebrates 60 years of service to individuals with disabilities and 40 years of the Run, Walk and Roll as our fundraising event during the Fish Days festival.

We are incredibly grateful for the more than 500 participants and 100 volunteers who came together to support our mission.

A special thank you goes to the City of Port Washington police, fire and public works departments and Friends of Parks and Recreation.

We also want to recognize the Port Washington neighbors who lined the route to cheer on our participants.

Thank you to Ansay & Associates for generously allowing us to use their parking lot for raising additional funds throughout the day.

This event is made possible by our sponsors listed on the back of every T-shirt.

We are also grateful for the Fish Days Committee for organizing the festival in which we are proud to be a partner.

Portal, Inc. has been serving adults with disabilities and their families for 60 years, starting in what is now the Port Washington Town Hall. Today, we continue to support individuals across Ozaukee County with employment, life skills, arts, wellness, social experiences, recreational opportunities, volunteer service and community involvement.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this event possible. We are proud to be part of such a fun, caring and supportive community.
