Kenneth G. Baldwin

Mr. Ken Baldwin of Saukville passed away Saturday morning, Aug. 29, 2020, at Lawlis Family Hospice Center in Mequon. He was 85 years old.
Ken was born on March 27, 1935, in Waupaca, the son of Joseph and Martha Fetzer Baldwin. He attended local schools, graduating from Waupaca High School.
He was united in marriage with Sharon Busalacchi and the couple had two children together.
On May 1, 1965, Ken married Constance Woszynski in Waukegan, Ill. They lived in Milwaukee before moving to Saukville in 1968 to raise their family.
Mr. Baldwin worked as an industrial mechanic at Continental Can Co. in Milwaukee, retiring when the company closed after 41 years on the job.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Port Washington.
Ken loved being outdoors; whether he was splitting wood or deer hunting, he liked watching the wildlife, birds and weather. He was a rockhound and was always on the lookout for rocks that stood out from the usual, teaching his children along the way to slow down and look at the wonderful world all around them. Ken also enjoyed photography and cars.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Connie; and their children, Cynthia Docter of Saukville, Jennifer Butzke of Summit and Joseph (Katie) Baldwin of Appleton. He is further survived by daughter MaryLou Habarth of Wixom, Mich., and son Scott Baldwin of Ferndale, Mich.
Ken was the proud grandpa of eight grandchildren, Drake Butzke, Harry, Harley, George and Louis Baldwin, Maureen (Dustin) Harris and Christine and Gregory Habarth; and he is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Elle and Zoe Harris; brother Glenn (Sandra) Baldwin of Box Elder, S.D.; sister Gloria LaFortune of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by five siblings, Elton, Evan, James, Norma and Ethel Baldwin.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, Sept. 3, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 217 N. Freeman Dr., Port Washington, with funeral services beginning at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. John Klieve will preside.
Mr. Baldwin will be laid to rest at Washington County Memorial Park.
To comply with the statewide mandate, face masks will be required at the visitation and service.
