Keeping the Stuff the Buss food drive moving

Stuff the Bus, the annual effort that encourages Cedarburg elementary school students to donate as much food as they can to the Saukville Community Food Pantry, was a little different this year because of the pandemic but no less successful, as evidenced by the donations delivered to the Food Pantry last week. Usually, students and parents literally stuff a school bus with the donations, but to keep them separated and safe, Mr. Mover of Saukville donated a truck and two employees to pick up the food at schools and drop it off at the Food Pantry. Standing by some of the many bins and boxes of everything from soup to juice were (front, from left) Stuff the Bus organizers Katie Draeger and Kathleen Shane, Saukville Community Food Pantry Director Mark Gierach (back) and Mr. Mover employees Nathan Sleik-Vidmar and Anthony Masters. Draeger is also a Food Pantry volunteer.
