Kathryn Buck

Kathryn Gail Buck, 79, of Saukville, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019, at her home peacefully in her sleep after a brief battle with lung cancer.
Kathy was born Aug. 11, 1939, to Anna J. Fischer and Elroy Rusch in Milwaukee.
She graduated from Messmer High School in Milwaukee, Class of 1957.
On April 8, 1961, she married William E. Buck of Milwaukee.  Kathy was married for 55 years before William passed away three years ago from complications from a prior brain aneurysm.
Kathryn was a woman of few hobbies and minimal personal experiences, yet at the same time she was worldly and fascinating.  Her hobby, her passion, her love was her family. She lived for her, and ultimately through, her husband and children. She was the personification of selflessness, love and caring. She was the quintessential mother!
Kathy is survived by her children Terrance W. (Shelly) Buck of Cedarburg, Jennifer K. (William) Erhardt of Manitowoc, Michelle A. (David) Treske of Saukville, James B. (Jayne) Buck of Omaha, Neb., Daniel P. (Shawn) Buck of Belgium and Matthew J. Buck of West Bend.
Kathy enjoyed her grandchildren Michael, Eric (Jasmin), James, Jordan, Nicholas, Josh, Alyssa, Briana, Broderick, Breleigh, Tyler, Lauren and Carly, as well as her great-grandchildren Caiden, Jayden and Erika.
She is further survived by her sister MaryAnn Rusch (Sister Jeanne, SSND) of Cedarburg, brother Elroy Rusch of Cedarburg, sister-in-law Karen (John) Thorstenson of Menominee Falls, brother-in-law John (Sandy) Lundstrom of Milwaukee, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 24, at Eernisse Funeral Home in Cedarburg, 1167 Washington Ave.
The family will receive visitors on Friday from 4 p.m. until the services at 6:30 p.m.
