John “Johnnie” Keller

John “Johnnie” Keller Jr. passed away on March 7, 2025, at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon after a short battle with cancer.
He was born on Dec. 21, 1965, in Port Washington to John Keller Sr. and Nancy Keller.
He attended Port Washington schools and Milwaukee Area Technical College, where he studied to be a machinist. He continued to work in that field throughout his career, most recently at Miba Industrial Bearings in Grafton until his illness.
Johnnie will be missed by many, especially his mom Nancy, who he played cribbage with every weekend and golfed with in the summer.
In his spare time, he loved to cook, golf, go fishing with friends and play cards. Johnnie loved to have conversations with people wherever he went, and whoever knew him would recognize his ferocious laugh!
Johnnie is survived by his children Jack Keller of Port Washington and Brianne Pennell of Greenville, N.C.
He is further survived by his mother Nancy Keller of Port Washington, sisters Kim (Wayne) Cichosz of West Bend, Verna (Marty) Franzkowiak of Port Washington and Laura (Guy) Link of Port Washington and brother Jason (Jodi) Keller of Oak Creek, along with many nieces and nephews. Johnnie was tenderly cared for in his last weeks by his niece Ashley Geis.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father John Keller Sr. and two brothers.
Peace of Mind Funeral Home assisted the family.
There will be a celebration of life for Johnnie on Sunday, March 30, at the American Legion Hall in Port Washington, 435 Lake St., from 2:30 to 5:15 p.m.
