Interfaith, volunteer honored by Evers

Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County received two Governor’s Service Awards from Gov. Tony Evers recently.

The organization was named the AmeriCorps Seniors Program of the Year and James Lee of Interfaith was named the AmeriCorps Seniors Volunteer of the Year.

The Governor’s Service Awards honor outstanding Wisconsin volunteers, AmeriCorps members, AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers and national service organizations that address serious social needs across Wisconsin.
