Industrial park expected to pay off for village in jobs, tax base

Fredonia’s new Southern Industrial Park will bring “a lot of jobs” to the village, said Village Administrator Christophe Jenkins.

Twenty to 30 full-time positions will be added with Badger Paperboard’s arrival, several with Ideal Tree Service and 15 to 20 with the recently-signed Mirror Metal Finishing Image Inc, according to Jenkins.

The boom comes from the village’s soon-to-be developed 62-acre industrial park that was divided into four lots by the Fredonia Village Board recently.
