Hours of Giving for United Way to start March 18

United Way of Northern Ozaukee is hosting its third annual Hours of Giving online donation drive starting Friday, March 18.
From noon Friday, March 18, until noon Sunday, March 20, donors will be able to designate which of United Way’s 12 partner agencies receive their gifts.
The agencies include the Adult Literacy Program, Advocates of Ozaukee, Balance Inc., Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ozaukee, Family Sharing, Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee, Lakeshore Regional Child Advocacy Center, NAMI of Ozaukee, Ozaukee Family Services, Ozaukee Jail Literacy Program, Portal Inc. and Sirona Recovery.
“With the growing concerns about the economic crisis that is spiraling out of control, one illness or missed paycheck can be disastrous for the vulnerable families we are currently helping,” Barbara Bates-Nelson, executive director of United Way of Northern Ozaukee, said. “Our nonprofit partners must be supported during this financial crisis to help our communities with critical lifeline services and also to be there to help them recover.”
To take part in the event, visit unitedwayno.org/designation-day, send checks to United Way of Northern Ozaukee at P.O. Box 39, Port Washington, WI 53074 or drop  off a check at any Port Washington State Bank location.
Checks should be made out to UWNO with the name of the agency you wish to support in the memo line. All checks must be received by the close of the business day on Monday, March 21.
