Harley-Davidson dealership comes through with food for Port pantry

There was some heavy lifting to be done just two days before Christmas thanks to the more than 1,860 pounds of food collected by Suburban Motors Harley-Davidson in Thiensville and donated to the Port Washington Food Pantry. Gathered with some of the food, which was collected during the dealership’s three holiday open houses, were (from left) Food Pantry representatives Shirley and Phil Groothausen and Mary Jo Bichler, Suburban Motors Harley-Davidson owner Wayne Houpt, General Manager Todd Berlin, and Food Pantry volunteers Ralph Schmit, Joe Postl, Jim Herman and Tom Caravella. Santa was played by dealership employee Mark Wenzel. The Suburban Milwaukee HOG Chapter helped with the annual food drive.   Photo by Sam Arendt
