Grafton to spark up the Holidaze fun Saturday

Grafton will kick off its Saturday, July 2, Holidaze celebration with an 11 a.m. Independence Day parade and follow that with an evening of festivities in Lime Kiln Park.

The parade will head north on Wisconsin Avenue from Ninth Avenue to Bridge Street, where members of the University of Wisconsin Marching Band will entertain with a special 5th Quarter performance in Paramount Plaza.

At 5 p.m., the fun begins in Lime Kiln Park, where there will be food, beverages and live music by The Playlist, all leading up to what organizers bill as the “biggest fireworks show north of Milwaukee” at dusk.

Riteway Bus Services will offer a shuttle service from Grafton High School’s east parking lot to the park from 5 p.m. until the fireworks show is over.

Holidaze is organized by Celebrate Grafton.
