Grafton to roll out new parking rule Dec. 1
Winter parking rules take effect in Grafton on Monday, and this year the Police Department has announced a simple new rule — when snow isn’t expected, people can park on village streets.
The department will monitor the weather and enforce parking restrictions as conditions require, officials said.
The village will post updates on the department website, the village’s Facebook page and on the door of the Police Station, 1918 Washington St.
People can also call the snow line at (262) 375-5320, extension 598, or sign up for alerts at villageofgraftonwigov.gov/list.aspx. They will have to enter their email and click on “Notify Me Sign In,” complete a profile and save it, then select an email or phone icon for updates.
When restrictions are active, no on-street parking will be allowed in the village.
Winter parking rules are in effect from Dec. 1 to April 1.
