Grafton Parks Society to host beer garden events to raise money for new playground

Grafton’s second annual beer garden series kicks off this month to raise funds for a new playground at Meadowbrook Park.

The Grafton Parks Society is hosting the series, which will have it first event from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, at Centennial Park with music by the band Idledaze.

Foxtown Brewing will release its Oktoberfest at the event, and there will be the food sold by Romero’s Taco Truck.

The next beer garden will also be at Centennial Park, from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 with polka music by Roger Boll.

The food truck The Smokin C’s will sell food.

On Saturday, Sept. 28, the beer garden will be hosted at Lime Kiln Park from noon to 6 p.m. with music by Idledaze and food from Romero’s food truck.

The event, from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, will also be held at Lime Kiln Park with music by Roger Boll and the food truck La Empanada.
