Grafton Legion to host Memorial Day parade, program

Grafton will observe Memorial Day on Monday, May 29, with a parade, program in the park and lunch.

The Rose-Harms American Legion parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. and head north on 13th Avenue to Veterans Memorial Park. Legion members will be joined by the Grafton High School marching band and Boy Scouts.

At the park, there will be a short program during which the names of Grafton Legion members who have died during the last year will be read. The program will also include a rifle salute and taps played by Grafton High buglers.

After the program, the public is invited to the Legion Hall at 1540 13th Ave. for lunch prepared by the Auxiliary.
