Grafton Chamber seeks awards nominations
The Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its Outstanding Citizen and Community Group awards.
Each year, the Chamber selects a person from the Grafton community who exemplifies leadership, stewardship, integrity and community involvement as its outstanding citizen. The award recipient will be invited to be the grand marshall of the annual Christmas Parade on Nov. 24.
The Outstanding Community Group Award goes to a nonprofit or volunteer-based agency whose programs have enhanced the quality of life in Grafton. The award will be presented during the community tree lighting ceremony on Nov. 18. Nominations for both awards are due by Oct. 12.
Nomination letters should include the senders name and phone number and be sent to the Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 132, Grafton, WI 53024.
