Grafton Chamber seeking award nominations

The Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its 2023 Outstanding Business and Outstanding Businessperson of the Year awards.

To be considered for the awards, the business or businessperson must be a member of the Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce.

Nominations will be judged on the following criteria:

n Growth in employment due to the business or management of the business.

n Recognition — An increase in the business’ image in the community as viewed on the local, state or national level.

n Reputation — Respect in the business community and a well-rounded business or businessperson in regards to financial performance, business responsibility, service to the community and political awareness.

n Leadership — Improved the business climate with positive influence.

Nominations are due April 5.

The awards will be presented by the Chamber’s annual meeting on May 17.
