Good music, good food, good cause

Plenty of good things awaited visitors at the 49th annual Chili Day fundraiser presented by the Grafton Music Parents group on Saturday, Feb. 2, at Grafton High School. In addition to enjoying a menu featuring chili, hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches, desserts and beverages, the diners were treated to performances by band students from Kennedy, Woodview, John Long and Grafton High schools and could bid on auction items. Middle photo, Jerry and JoAnn Liska helped prepare the main entree. Bottom photo, Mia McKinnis was one of hundreds of hungry guests served from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Proceeds from the event support music programs at all grade levels in the school district.
