Giving the gift of turkeys this Thanksgiving

Helping to make sure everyone has a turkey on their table for Thanksgiving next week, the North Shore Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation donated 100 birds to four food pantries in Ozaukee County last week. Picking up the turkeys from Tom Schwai (left), owner of Schwai’s Meat and Sausage in Fredonia, were North Shore Chapter members (from left) Will Hollrith, Pat Hoffmann, Greg Koc and Ted Fischer. The organization donated the birds to the Ozaukee Food Alliance in Saukville, Food Pantry Inc. in Port Washington and the pantries at Family Sharing and St. Joseph Catholic Parish, both in Grafton.               Photo by Sam Arendt
