The BP gas station in Belgium is going to get a little bigger.

The Belgium Plan Commission on Monday approved a conditional use permit for Sukhdev Singh Gill to add three pumps with a canopy on a neighboring plot of land owned by his company, Gill Plaza Property.

The pumps will offer diesel fuel and help with traffic congestion and better traffic flow, according to the application.

The pumps will be located at 105, 107 and 111 Lakeview Dr. and encompass more than 22,000 square feet next to the station at 125 Lakeview Drive.

The property is zoned for business use, which allows gas service stations.

The business plans to resurface the driveway to access the new pumps, Village Clerk Julie Lesar said.
