Garden planning help is here, and it’s just in time

Those looking for inspiration or help planning their gardens this spring may be interested in a presentation to be held at A Place to Be Spirituality Center.
“Whole Garden Planning” will provide information on starting seeds at home, maintaining healthy soil, best practices in vegetable rotation and how to manage pests ecologically.
The talk will be hosted by agroecologist Nicole Tautges — who holds a doctorate from the Michael Fields Agricultural Institute in East Troy — on Saturday March 26, from 9 to 11 a.m. at A Place to Be, 166 W. Dekora St., Saukville.
Preregistration for the event is required at www.aplacetobesc.org.
    A $25 donation is suggested.
