A family farm in a big way with 1,500 cows and 21 workers

Adam and Kendall Melichar have a unique partnership in running their Town of Port Washington family farm.

Adam’s career was never in question after growing up on Melichar Broad Acres.

“As long as I can remember, this is all I was ever going to do,” the 2003 Port High grad said.

His wife has a little different experience.

“I never imagined myself on a farm,” she said.

Kendall grew up in the Town of Cedarburg and showed cows from her uncle’s farm through 4-H.
