Facility for adults with autism will no longer need 24/7 manager

The Grafton Plan Commission approved the rezoning of an institutional residential community for adults with autism on Tuesday to remove the requirement a manager be present at all times.

Woodside Prairie near Port Washington Road and Cheyenne Avenue was originally conceptualized in 2019 by developers Rebecca and Alan Goldman as a living community of four six-bedroom buildings with shared living spaces for autistic adults, accompanied by two four-unit townhomes for Concordia University-Wisconsin college students who would be available 24/7 as managers.
