Emergencies at work is topic of OED program
Ozaukee Economic Development will host a workplace emergency training luncheon on Wednesday, May 29.
The “Run, Hide, Fight” Lunch & Learn event will take place at Milwaukee Area Technical College’s Mequon Campus, 5555 W. Highland Rd., from 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Attendees will learn active shooter and stop-the-bleed lessons.
Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office Detective Gary Speth will offer training on active shooter situations, and Emergency Medical Services Manager Rick Boeshaar of Aurora Health Care will teach how to assist people suffering from life-threatening bleeding.
The cost is $20 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members.
