Eloise G. Grandaw

Eloise “Ellie” Gertrude (nee Bucheger) Grandaw, 72, of Green Bay, Wis., passed away peacefully from heart complications on July 19, 2020, with her family by her side.

She was born Jan. 6, 1948, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Frederick and Auda Mae (nee Whittington) Bucheger. She was the loving mother of two sons and grandmother of four grandchildren.

Ellie grew up in Fredonia and attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic Grade School. She graduated from Port Washington High School in 1966.

After she married, she raised her children, served as a Cub Scout den leader, and worked at a hospital and Kohl’s Department store when her children were grown.

Ellie enjoyed baking, gardening, canning, her three cats, crocheting and ballroom dancing.

Ellie is survived by her children Bob (Becky) Grandaw of Dunbar, Wis., and Tim (special friend Nicole) Grandaw of Oconto, Wis.; as well as her grandchildren Brittany, Josh, Ryan and Alex Grandaw.

She is also survived by her mother Auda Mae Bucheger of Fredonia; sister Diana Janssen of Mountain, Wis.; brother Fred (Barb) of Grafton; nephews; other friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her brother Mark (1955-1959); her infant son Ronald; and her father.

A private memorial service was held for the immediate family.
