Education group to host Color Blast event Aug. 30

The Grafton Education Foundation will host an online Color Blast on Sunday, Aug. 30.

This year’s event is sponsored by Port Washington State Bank’s Grafton branch in memory of Grafton Elementary School teacher Jill Ruland, who died in car crash in 2017.

Throughout the day, families are encouraged to go for a run or walk, blast themselves with color packets and post photos to #PWSBColorBlast2020.

Registration is $5 for people ages 4 and older.

Registration kits can be picked up at Port Washington State Bank’s Grafton branch from Thursday, Aug. 26, through Saturday, Aug. 29. Each kit includes a color packet and T-shirt.

The goal is to raise $500 for the Grafton Education Foundation.
