Don White to perform concert on Nov. 9
Singer and songwriter Don White will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Unitarian Church North in Mequon.
White, who has been a touring musician for 30 years, is described as an expert storyteller, comedian, author, singer and songwriter.
White’s arc as a writer and performer has taken him from his industrial hometown of Lynn, Mass., through Boston’s comedy clubs and coffeehouses and onto the stage with performers such as Christine Lavin, Arlo Guthrie, Taj Mahal, Ritchie Havens, Patty Larkin, Bill Morrissey, Tom Rush and Louden Wainright III.
Tickets to the concert are $18 in advance or $22 at the door and $12 for students.
A $1 discount per food item donated to a maximum $4 will be given at the door.
The concert is sponsored by the Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series.
