DNR to hold meetings on Lake Michigan’s lake trout
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is holding the second in a series of four public meetings of the Lake Michigan Lake Trout Commercial Harvest Stakeholder Group to present information and gather public feedback on the Lake Michigan lake trout population.
The second public meeting is on Monday, March 20, in the Lake Michigan Room of Lakeshore Technical College, 1290 North Ave., Cleveland, Wis.
Following a summary of the first meeting, the focus of the meeting will be lake trout mass-marking and movement patterns in Lake Michigan.

Two more public meetings are scheduled on the topic in the same location. At 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, lake trout population and forecast models will be discussed.At 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, a focused working group discussion will be held with input taken.
