Division 4 state preview:

Ozaukee/Random Lake, 13-6-3, got a 3 seed in the final four and takes on Washburn, 16-1-1, which beat Assumption, 1-0, in the sectional final and is making its first state tourney trip. The teams don’t have any common opponents. Washburn won the Heart O’North Conference with a 7-0-1 record. Ozaukee/Random Lake was third in the Big East at 4-2-1.

Washburn’s Maddie Ludwig is the Castle Guards’ leading scorer with 47 goals, according to wissports.net, fifth in the state. Scoring then drops to nine goals from Gemma Sandor. She and Cassandra Claremboux lead the team with 14 assists each.

Evraets leads Ozaukee/Random Lake’s more balanced attack with 21 goals, according to wissports. Prom has 10 and Reese Prom, who injured her knee weeks ago and will be out the rest of the season, has nine. Evraets, both Proms and Kunz each have six assists.

Washburn has allowed three goals all season, and two came in a 2-1 loss at Superior on April 14. The Castle Guards haven’t allowed a goal since April 28. Keeper Lehney Paulson has 56 saves.

Kraemer has 151 saves for Ozaukee/Random Lake.

The semifinal game is at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 19, at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee.

The other semifinal at 4:30 p.m. pits No. 1 Xavier (18-3-1) vs. No. 4 Lake Country Lutheran (9-7-2).

Semifinal winners meet at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14, for the state championship.
