District special education director to resign
The Cedar Grove-Belgium School District is losing its director of special education and school psychologist at the end of the school year.
“It’s definitely bittersweet. As you all know I’m looking to be closer to my family. My parents need help,” Tamra O’Keefe told the School Board last week.
“I appreciate everything that the board has done through the years and all the support. I’ve been able to do a lot of things in the district because of the great superintendents, the support of my colleagues and the board, and of course the teachers and the school district and the parents as well. It’s been a wonderful experience.”
The board accepted her resignation on March 8.
