The Cedar Grove-Belgium School District is providing free grab-and-go lunches for children at the middle school and Belgium Fire Station on any Monday, Wednesday and Friday when school would normally be in session.

The lunches will be available for pickup from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Children don’t need to be eligible for free and reduced lunch to get the meals and don’t need to attend the Cedar Grove-Belgium School District.

School resumes on Monday for students. Classes will be conducted online. Nearly all families were connected virtually with their classroom teachers on Connectivity Day March 19, Interim Supt. Claire Martin said in a website post.

“We are encouraged by this first step in delivering K-12 virtual education,” she said.
