Delivering a message of support to their students

Staff members at St. John XXIII Catholic School in Port Washington decorated their vehicles and hit the road last week to parade past the houses of their students, who have been learning from home since mid-March and will be for the rest of the school year. Among those who wished students well was Adam Chilinski, who waved as he pulled out of the school parking lot (top photo). Deb Miller (above right) and Amy McMullen were standing by with balloons and other decorations. The school mascot gave a thumbs-up to an inspiring message written on the back of a minivan.                     Photos by Sam Arendt
