Darlene Glander

Darlene M. Glander, 86, of Saukville, died Sunday, March 10, at Heritage Health Services in Port Washington.

Ms. Glander was born in Random Lake on Aug. 15, 1932, to Edward and Clara Pierron Best.   

She was a member of St. John XXIII Parish, Immaculate Conception Church, where she was a member of the Christian Women’s Club. She was a member of the Women’s Catholic Order of Foresters, a past president of the Grafton Bowling League, Saukville Seniors, and Gateway to Snow Snowmobile Club. She enjoyed snowmobiling, bowling and going swimming at the Feith Family YMCA, her family said.  

Ms. Glander is survived by her sons Dale (Tammy) of Grafton, Scott of Cudahy and Gary of Port Washington.

She is further survived by grandchildren Derrick Glander, Elysha (John) Fortino, Amanda Glander and Ryan (Esfir) Glander; and six great-grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by special friend Lorraine Baley and sister Kathleen “Connie” Grasse.  

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, at St. John XXIII Parish, Immaculate Conception Church, in Saukville. Father Pat Wendt will preside.

Visitation will take place at the church on Tuesday from 3 p.m. until the service.

Inurnment will be at St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery in Port Washington.

Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington, is handling the arrangements.
