Cop says teen may have hit 140 mph while fleeing on I-43

A 19-year-old driver from the Town of Grafton who is accused of giving cops the slip once before was charged in Ozaukee County Circuit Court last week with speeding away from officers from four departments as he raced through morning traffic in the I-43 construction zone and hit a speed believed to be as high as 140 mph as he fled north in September.
