Cooking up a new nonprofit

Mel’s Charities and Happy Place Cooking Space in Cedarburg raised $41,551 last year through a matching grant program run by Mel’s Charities, money that will be used to construct an accessible teaching kitchen in Cedarburg intended to help people with disabilities learn to cook and connect in a space designed to meet their needs.
