Contract with Grota Appraisals approved

The Belgium Village Board this month approved a five-year contract with Grota Appraisals of Menomonee Falls to be its assessor.

The contract is for $62,400. The village will pay $12,480 per year in four installments of $3,120.

Trustee Josh Borden said the village got a quote from another company but Grota’s was more appealing.

The Finance Committee recommended approving a contract with Grota. The board unanimously agreed.
