Community input sought on new Port parks plan
Community input on a comprehensive outdoor recreation plan for 2021 through 2025 is being sought by the Port Washington Parks and Recreation Department.
The plan will be used by the city as it makes decision on improvements to existing parks, new facilities, land acquisition, recreational trail extensions and handicap access issues.
The department will hold two meetings on the plan, one at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at the beer garden area in Upper Lake Park and the other via Zoom at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30.
The public may also take a five-minute survey to provide input for the plan by accessing surveymonkey.com/r/PWParksCommunitySurvey.
The deadline to complete the survey is Nov. 2.
For more information, call the department at 284-5881 or visit portwashingtonrecdesk.com.
