Christmas fun in Grafton is just around the corner

The Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce is preparing to kick off its “I’ll be Gnome for Christmas” holiday events, which will begin with the community tree lighting at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, in Paramount Plaza. That will set the stage for more fun the following weekend, with Breakfast with Santa from 7:30 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, at Circle B Recreation Center followed by the 42nd annual Grafton Christmas parade. Tickets for the breakfast are $10 for adults and $7 for children and can be purchased through the Chamber’s website at www.grafton-wi.org/holiday-events-in-grafton/. Holding a banner and a fine collection of gnomes recently were members of the Grafton Holiday Events Committee (front row, from left) Elizabeth Mueller, Dave Antoine, Nicolette Gergens, Sarah McCraw, (back row) Kim Meisinger, Jamie Grenoable, Von Rolon-Gonzalez, Becki Schimpf, Colleen Wigh and Pam King. Other committee members not pictured are Dana Carter, Mike Donahue, Nick Fullington, David Liss and Sharon McKelvey.                              Photo by Sam Arendt
