Chamber seeks sponsors for Scare 5K fundraiser

The Saukville Chamber of Commerce is looking for partners for its flagship fundraising event, the Saukville Scare 5K Run/Walk, which will be a virtual event this year.

Participants will be able to complete the run/walk at their convenience and submit results to Chamber staff. Results will be posted on the Chamber website on Halloween Day.

There will also be a virtual costume contest.

Proceeds from the event benefit the free breakfast program at Saukville Elementary School.

“The pandemic has caused, and continues to cause, financial uncertainty. We have decreased sponsorship levels this year,” Chamber Executive Director Mike Cosgrove stated in a press release.

“This is a great opportunity for your organization to support an essential local cause and get some serious brand recognition in the process.”

Sponsorship levels are $1,000, which includes top billing on race shirts, promotional posters; advertising; mentions in the Chamber newsletter, its website and in press releases; $200, which includes medium logo on race shirts, promo posters and advertising; and $50, which includes a small logo on race shirts, promo posters and advertising.

For more information, contact Cosgrove at exec@saukvillechamber.org or 268-1970.
