CG-Belgium wrestlers face big test

A battle of undefeated wrestling teams in the Big East Conference takes place on Thursday in Random Lake.

The Rams, deep in wrestling tradition and the odds-on favorite to win the conference title every season in recent memory, host Cedar Grove-Belgium, which may have the firepower to knock off the champs this year.

“We’ve kind of been looking forward to it all year. Random has a good team once again,” coach Trevor Peterson said.

Thursday’s meet begins at 7 p.m.

The Rockets last Thursday beat Mishicot, 55-16, on Senior Night, and on Jan. 15 beat Reedsville, 55-23, at home.
