Cemetery ceremony, parade, program on tap for Memorial Day
Saukville will observe Memorial Day with a cemetery ceremony, parade, program and lunch on Monday, May 29.
The holiday events, which are being organized by the Landt-Thiel American Legion, begin with a ceremony in Union Cemetery at 8 a.m.
At 9 a.m., the parade will begin at Rebel Road and travel north on South Main Street to Veterans Park.
The program in the park will run from 9:30 to about 11 a.m.
After that, the public is invited to the Legion hall at 601 W. Dekora St. for lunch.
