Cedar Sauk Road work scheduled to start July 17

Work on resurfacing Cedar Sauk Road is scheduled to begin July 17, weather permitting, Saukville Public Works Supt. Ray deBruijn told village officials this week, with completion of the work expected around the end of August.

The village shares jurisdiction over the 1.87-mile project — from South Main Street/Highway O west to Maple Road — with the towns of Grafton and Saukville.

The project includes reconstruction of the intersection of Cedar Sauk and Highway O.

A state grant will cover 70% of the estimated project cost of $292,000.
