Carol Bamberg

Carol Ann Bamberg (nee Clark) passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 26, at age 82.  

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Bruce.  

Carol was a true optimist and always endeavored to see the best in everyone.  

Mother to five children, Carol was a teacher in Glendale and Milwaukee public schools for 22 years. She taught first grade and special education students and was an advocate for parents and children with learning disabilities.  

Carol enjoyed spending time with family and friends along with her husband Bruce at their cottage in northern Wisconsin.  She was an avid reader and artist. She loved to share her collection of children’s literature. She also enjoyed volunteering as a guide at the Eghart House museum in Port Washington, Wis.   

Carol is survived by her children Mark, Chris (Nancy), Suzanne (Tony), Jill (Patrick) and Jennifer (Karim), as well as her sisters Mary and Margaret (Jeff), eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  

Donations in Carol’s name may be made to the Eghart House or the Milwaukee Public Schools Foundation.  

There will be a gathering at a later date.
