Carol Ann Noll

Carol Ann Noll of the Town of Port Washington passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025. She was 86 years old.

Carol was born in Port Washington on Sept. 26, 1939, the daughter of Len and Evelyn (nee Reiter) Ruffing, and went on to live a life filled with laughter, love and resilience on a dairy farm in Port Washington.

She attended Port Washington High School, where she met the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Noll. They were united in marriage on March 2, 1957, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington.  They spent 67 wonderful years together.

Carol was a devoted farm wife to Bob, helping out on the family dairy farm while raising her four children. She could sling bales with the best of them! Carol loved to feed people and enjoyed trying new recipes on her family and friends. Carol was the heart of the Noll family. Her kitchen was the gathering place for Sunday get-togethers and holiday celebrations.

Carol was a doer. If you wanted something done, everyone knew Carol would help and take care of it! She supported her family and always extended a helping hand to anyone in need. Her legacy is one of kindness and compassion that started in high school when she was a candy striper at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Port Washington.  Her dedication to helping others shone brightly.

Carol was a devoted community volunteer for many years at the Port Washington Food Pantry. She will be remembered for the tender care she provided to many family members and her husband Bob in his final years.

Carol and Bob cherished their yearly trips to Door County. She also enjoyed snowmobiling all over Ozaukee County, watching movies and doing puzzles. She was an avid reader and had a great sense of humor.

Carol is survived by her loving children Robert (Jackie) Noll, the late Dale (Jeannie) Noll, Vicki (Kevin) Yurske and Randy (Kristie) Noll.  Her legacy extends to her 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, who will cherish her memory.

She is further survived by her sisters-in-law Shirley (Gene) Large and Mary Jane (the late Bob) Bravi, brother-in-law Jim Noll, her best friend of 75 years Dolly Burton, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Len and Evelyn, her husband Bob, her son Dale, grandson Andrew Madden, her sister Joyce (the late Len) Hildebrand and her in-laws Alton and Leona Noll.

Funeral services for Carol will be celebrated on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, at 5 p.m. at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington. Friends and family are welcome to a visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, Nov. 6, from 3 to 5 p.m.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery in Port Washington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Food Pantry Inc. of Port Washington or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Carol was known for her hearty laugh and kind heart. She was the heart and soul of the Noll family. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington, is honored to serve the Noll family.
