Branch pickup starts May 11
The Village of Fredonia has adjusted its branch-chipping rules in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
Curbside pick-up of branches will begin Monday, May 11.
All branches left at curbs should be placed in a garbage can or other container or tied in bundles not weighing more than 30 pounds and no longer than four feet to allow workers to put them in a loader bucket or dump truck and maintain social distancing.
Branches less than a quarter-inch in diameter can be dropped off at the village yard waste site.
For curbside pickup, call 692-9125 before 7 a.m. May 11 to be placed on the list.
