Bird celebration, plant sale to be held in Port

The Lake Michigan Bird Observatory’s native plant sale and celebration of World Migratory Bird Day will be held on Saturday, May 17, in Port Washington’s  Upper Lake Park.

People can see live raptors from Pine View Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, learn about birds and participate in activities for the whole family.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
