Best of the Blueburg Cafe set for June 18
The annual Best of Blueburg Cafe Open Mic Talent Competition will be held at the Cedarburg Cultural Center at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 18.
The top semifinalists from the 2021 monthly open mic nights will perform before a panel of professional, industry-related judges for honors and cash prizes. The judges include Milwaukee-based artists Josh Pope and Will Pfrang.
Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place winners, and the audience will pick a People’s Choice winner.
The performers include Shirley Bachhuber, Vince Condella, Bob Feller and Don Gibson, Dave Geisthardt, Chris Head, Flannel Folk, Van Jaeger, Terry King, Michelle Standlee, Norb Studelska and Bailey Willis.
Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the center, by calling 375-3676 or online at www.cedarburgculturalcenter.org/blueburg-cafe.
A limited number of reserved tables are available. A table for four will cost $50 and a table for eight $100.
Masks are strongly recommended at the center.
The Blueburg Cafe is held at 6:15 p.m. on the first Wednesday of most months.
