Belgium Chamber crowns award winners

The Belgium Area Chamber of Commerce presented its annual awards at Celebrate Belgium Nov. 10 at Memories Dinner Theater. Those accepting awards were (from left) Cedar Grove-Belgium School Board members Dan Bruhn, Nancy Niebauer and Lori Gruell for the school district’s Community Special Recognition Award; the late Clem Gottsacker’s sons Daniel and David and wife Joan for the Lifetime Service Award; Jack and Kathy Peiffer of Peiffer Oil and Propane for Business of the Year; Don Bystricky for the Distinguished Service Award; Luxembourg Cafe co-owner Terry Zeqiri for one of two Business Improvement awards; and Volunteer of the Year Sarah Heisler. Missing from photo was Ambassador of the Year Stephanie Rammel and Lanser Towing  owners Randy and Donna Ingelse for a Business Improvement Award. About 80 people attended.
