Bailke leads Black Hawks in NSC meet

Grafton’s Max Bailke shot an 81 and tied for second place at the Irish Course at Whistling Straits in the North Shore Conference Championship on May 17.

Bailke was just one shot from first.

Grafton finished sixth with 356 shots. Other scores were Kendyl Conrad, 88; William Reiss, 92; and Hayden Livingston, 95.

Port Washington was seventh with 358 shots. Noah Doherty had 85, followed by Jonas Fechner’s 86, Jack Schowalter’s 93 and Daniel Hansen’s 94.

Homestead won with 340.

Cedar Grove-Belgium finished in sixth with 355 shots in the Big East Conference Championship at Riverdale Country Club.

Ethan Aponte shot 83 and tied for 10th. Evan Rammel had 86, Mason Navis had 90 and Reid Ketterhagen had 96.

Ozaukee didn’t have a full team. Parker Kraus and Kaden Sheik each shot 90.

Kohler won with 320 strokes.
