Baby Bank has new name, fundraising set

The Ozaukee Community Baby Bank has been renamed as the Ozaukee Baby Bank by the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center .

While the name has been shortened, the mission remains the same — providing local families with essential baby items such as diapers, wipes, formula and baby food to families at no cost while upholding the values of care, connection and  confidence.

The announcement comes as planning is underway to expand and renovate the Baby Bank space into a welcoming, store-style environment designed to better serve families in need.

To raise the necessary funds for renovation, the Nonprofit Center will launch a community-wide Baby Bank Raffle fundraiser on Monday, Sept. 1.

The raffle aligns with National Diaper Need Awareness Week, which highlights the reality that one in two U.S. families struggle to afford diapers for their children.

As part of the campaign, collection barrels will be placed at locations throughout Ozaukee County to gather baby supplies.
